Position Summary: Leave Replacement Administrative Substitute Secondary Assistant Principal

The East Rochester Middle-Level Academy and High School serves 500 students in a culturally responsive setting tailored to meet the needs of all types of learners. The district has high expectations for student academic performance and encourages participation in extracurricular and co-curricular programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide curriculum and instruction supervision as directed for 6–12 programming as directed.

• Assists with the management of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to support student success

• Conducts observations per the District’s APPR plan and supervises faculty and staff as requested by the 6-12 School Principal.

• Coordinates development and implementation of policies related to student attendance and behavior management, focusing on students in grades 6–10.

• Supervises extracurricular and athletic functions and activities

• Organizes and conducts programs for students and parents, including orientation-related programs

• Helps to analyze data to inform instruction and school initiatives

• Performs other tasks as assigned by the principal

Terms of Employment:

This is a temporary per diem position, anticipated to run from December 18, 2025, through April 22, 2026, with no long-term commitment beyond the interim period, unless otherwise determined.
