Job Description

The East Rochester School District is seeking two dedicated Secondary Math Teachers for full-time, tenure-track positions, including one 8th-grade Math/8th Grade Algebra opening and one High School opening. We are looking for professionals who are eager to establish long-term roots and build a fulfilling, lifelong career within our school community. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver dynamic, rigorous lessons and units in alignment with New York State curriculum and standards.

• Maintain and enhance collaborative professional relationships with fellow faculty members.

• Utilize educational technology effectively to maximize classroom instruction and student learning.

• Support the holistic development of students by promoting Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) alongside academic excellence.

Job Qualifications

• NYS Mathematics Certification Grades 7–12, 

• Additional Certification in Special Education is preferred but not required.

• Successful classroom teaching experience
