Job Description

The East Rochester Girls Soccer program is currently recruiting a Modified Girls Soccer Coach.

Job Qualifications

Coaching Qualifications:

• Ability to teach fundamental skills and team concepts of soccer.
• Ability to interact with student-athletes of different ages and skill levels in a positive and professional manner.
• Candidates should demonstrate a high degree of integrity as the staff is considered to be role models for students.
• Motivate and mentor student-athletes.

Coaching Requirements:

• A valid New York State teaching certificate in Physical Education (K-12) or another teaching area, a Professional Coaching Certificate, or eligibility for a Temporary Coaching License
• Valid and appropriate First Aid, CPR, and AED certificates for coaches at the time of appointment
• Willingness to complete the Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse and SAVE Workshops within the first year of coaching
• Willingness to enroll in and complete the Coaching Eligibility Program through the Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES (585-352-2606) or Monroe 1 BOCES (585-249-7026) (or equivalent program) within the first three years of coaching
