Job Description

The East Rochester School District is seeking a certified long-term substitute Teacher of English Learners. This position is anticipated to run through December 2024.

• Prepare and teach dynamic ENL stand-alone and integrated ENL lessons/units in accordance with NYS curriculum and standards.
• Support English Language Learners, Multilanguage Learners, and Students with Interrupted Formal Education 
• Foster engagement with the families of ELLs, MLLs, and SIFE
• Administer and score the NYSITELL, NYSESLAT, Multilingual Literacy SIFE Screener
• Maintain and enhance collaboration with team members and department members
• Utilize technology to maximize instruction and learning
• Promote Social-Emotional Learning

Job Qualifications

NYS Certification  ESOL K-12 

The selected candidate will be required to attend the New Faculty Staff Orientation on August 20-22.
