The East Rochester School District is recruiting for a  K-12 ENL educator who is a lifelong learner and demonstrates a commitment to an inclusive student-centered approach to learning. The 24-25 School Year assignment is predominately at the secondary level. This is a full-time, tenure-track position. 

• Prepare and teach dynamic ENL stand-alone and integrated ENL lessons/units in accordance with NYS curriculum and standards

• Support English Language Learners, Multilanguage Learners, and Students with Interrupted Formal Education 

• Foster engagement with the families of ELLs, MLLs, and SIFE

• Administer and score the NYSITELL, NYSESLAT, Multilingual Literacy SIFE Screener

• Maintain and enhance collaboration with team members and department members

• Utilize technology to maximize instruction and learning

• Promote Social-Emotional Learning

The East Rochester School District is looking for an LTS Italian teacher starting on 9/3/2024 with an undetermined end date. 

The long-term substitute will be responsible for teaching Italian 7/8, Italian I, II, and III, with additional ESOL classes. 

The district would consider splitting the assignment if there was an Italian teacher interested in just a 10-2 daily Italian caseload. 

*The estimated range is $43,500-$52,250 for a full-time assignment, prorated for the length of the assignment. Potential prorated per diem rate depending upon availability of the substitute.
